报告简介:
During the talk the concept of the classical Heisenberg approximation will be introduced. First, the classical equation for the magnetization motion without dissipation will be derived from the quantum-mechanical Heisenberg picture. Then, the damping of the magnetization will be phenomenologocally [1, 2] introduced.
Since materials are ferromagnetic only in the limited range of temperatures and for nanostructures the effect known as superparamagnetism is relevant, an inclusion of thermal noise into the dynamics equation is of great importance. Assuming the equation for the magnetization motion to be of the Langevin-type, it will be shown how the effect of thermal noise can be implemented into the dynamics. Several simple examples of the magnetization dynamics based on the obtained stochastic equation will be given.
In addition, further equations for the magnetization motion as well as other terms entering the dynamics equation, e.g. a spin-torque term, will be discussed.

Alexander Sukhov, 德国Martin-Luther-University 研究科学家。2005年于University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) 获得Diploma in Physics. 2006年进入Max-Planck-Institute of Microstructure Physics (Halle/Saale)学习, 于2009年获得物理学博士学位。目前是Martin-Luther-University “非平衡多体系统”研究组科学家。研究领域为量子磁学与纳米磁性动力学。曾获得多项德国自然科学基金资助,并在Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. B, Europhus. Lett. 等国际期刊发表多篇文章。
